My name is Natasha Tryon. My business is Impact Growth Marketing, a digital marketing agency,

What makes you special?

Aside from being a busy mom of three kids (ages 3 and under!), what makes me special is my drive to put my passion, skills, and purpose into alignment to serve our community. First, through Impact Growth Marketing, my goal is to educate and inspire brands to embrace bold marketing and to become better storytellers online – as more of their prospects and customers are interacting and engaging with brands digitally. Second, I’m passionate about raising awareness about birth equity and racial equity in maternity care, which is pretty unique and not commonly discussed in the business world. I recently launched a ‘for purpose’ organization, HolisticImpact.org,
which provides free marketing services to birth workers like midwives, doulas, and others. Through Holistic Impact, my goal is to enable birth workers to raise awareness about their services, expand their reach, and create stronger connections within their communities. My ‘for profit’ agency combined with my ‘for purpose’ organization has allowed me to create a more flexible lifestyle all while making an impact. And of course, I am proud to be a minority woman in business – I believe that, too, makes me unique.

How is Union helpful to your journey?

I began working at Union while in my previous position as a US Marketing Manager for a legal tech company based in Belgium. The space was helpful as it allowed me to work in person with another US colleague based here in San Diego, but it has now shifted and become even more instrumental in building my foundation for Impact Growth Marketing. I’ve met some incredibly talented and inspirational business owners, and have been able to do so while leveraging Union’s amenities and unique spaces like the podcast room and conference spaces to aide in a variety of aspects of
ImpactGrowth Marketing’s overall growth.

Where are you from?

I grew up in San Marcos, California. After graduating from CSUSM in 2011, I moved across the country to be with my husband who was in the
NFL at the time. We lived in five different states in a period of six years! Finally, in 2017 we decided to move back to California to settle down and have been here ever since.

Why do you like coworking and/or Union?

Working at Union has been such an incredible experience. I typically work in my home office, but I have three young children; a three-year-old, a two-year-old, and a 9-month-old who are also home during the day.
My husband and I are fortunate enough to have childcare at home, however, on days when I really want to focus, see other business professionals, and get inspired by working in a creative space (free of children playing in the background!) I head to Union. It’s great for a busy working mother like me, who enjoys being close to our children while working at home but also thrives working in a creative coworking space. It’s close to home and has such a cool modern vibe.
